The Tanzanite Masquerade pendant is one of the newest design from our Masquerade collection. This curious and delicate piece is made of sterling silver. The Tanzanite is set in an 18ct yellow gold setting (open on the back) Tanzanite is the blue and violet variety of the mineral zoisite, only found in Tanzania, in a very small mining area.
The mask is looking right, towards the future. The stone, placed at an angle on the top is like a guiding light. Tanzanite symbolizes higher consciousness and is commonly believed to stimulate intuition and perception. The surface of the mask is hand-engraved with delicate Dahlias. Generally, these summer-blooming and vivid flowers symbolize inner strength, change, creativity, and dignity.
The pendant measures 14 mm in width at the largest point. The surface has a satin finish with the edges of the mask polished. The sterling silver chain measures 19 inches (the length can be changed on request and it could be oxidised.
